Advice ‘consortium’ buys Australian wealth manager
Connectus Wealth Advisers, a subsidiary of Focus Financial Partners, has agreed to acquire George Ferizis Group for an undisclosed amount.
The company will join Connectus and the transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.
George Ferizis Group is a wealth management and accounting firm located in Bankstown, New South Wales.
It provides a range of wealth management services, including financial planning, investment and loan management solutions, as well as accounting and tax compliance, business structuring and advisory services.

“It will provide Connectus with significant depth in its fiscal and accounting capabilities, while expanding its presence in the Sydney metro area. “
Based in the United States, Connectus is a “global consortium” of client-centric advisers who provide wealth management advice through “access to expanded services, shared resources and best practices”.
The company is part of Focus Financial, a partnership of independent trust wealth management companies in the United States.
