Airbus, Fraunhofer Institute and POLIS Network to lead speaker line-up at Tomorrow Mobility

The conference program will address some of the most pressing mobility challenges, including the implementation of mobility as a service (MaaS), possible climate neutrality by 2030 and the safe deployment of urban air mobility. (UAM). The speakers are Vassilis Agouridas, Strategic Innovation Senior Manager at Airbus and responsible for the deployment of UAM; Mark Nieuwenhuijsen, Director of Urban Planning at IS Global, the Barcelona-based global health research center; Wiebke Pankauke, Deputy Head of the Future and Urban Mobility Systems Unit at the European Commission; Karen Vancluysen, Secretary General of POLIS Network, an association of European cities and regions cooperating for innovative transport solutions; and Wolfgang Inninger, project manager for traffic and mobility at Fraunhofer IML, one of Europe’s leading logistics-focused research centers.
TMWC’s goal is to go beyond an annual event and become an international hub for sustainable and smart urban mobility. To achieve this, the congress will be complemented by a digital content platform operating 365 days a year and a physical innovation center in Barcelona to bring together businesses, start-ups and institutions.

The pilot edition of TMWC will be held in conjunction with the Smart City Expo World Congress and PUZZLE X, establishing an unprecedented combination of events. Smart City Expo World Congress is the leading international summit of smart cities and urban solutions and, in its 2021 edition, it will bring together more than 400 companies and 300 speakers. PUZZLE X is a new conference that aims to seize the potential of Frontier materials to solve some of the challenges facing society.
