Barcelona, Spain, October 7, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The second edition of Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress (TMWC), the international event promoting the design and adoption of new models of sustainable urban mobility, will be held in Barcelona of November 15 to 17 under the theme What motivates you ? Organized jointly by Barcelona Fair and EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, a body of the European Union, the event will bring together 80 international experts and more than 100 exhibiting companies to jointly chart the roadmap towards the future of mobility.
Sessions will address key mobility challenges, including making public transport a global priority amid rising energy prices, using low emission zones, electrification and micromobility to achieve carbon neutrality and develop safely urban air mobility (UAM). Other key topics covered include mobility as a service, micromobility, last mile logistics, future and digital transport, transport infrastructure and energy transition and efficiency.
Experts participating in the discussion include Kelly Larson, head of traffic safety and drowning prevention work at Bloomberg Philanthropies; Karen Vancluysen, Secretary General of POLIS; Marco te Brömmelstroet, Professor of Future Urban Mobility, University of amsterdam; and Thomas Geier, Head of Research and Policy with European Metropolitan Transport Authorities; Maria Tsavachidis, CEO of EIT Urban Mobility; and Winfried HermanMinister of Transport of the Land of Baden-Württemberg (Germany). Two studies will be presented for the first time during the three days of the congress on the approach to the city in 15 minutes and on the development of UAM.
Tomorrow.Mobility will also include an exhibition space where companies such as Deloitte, BSM, Moventia, RACC, Renfe, Keolis and Mercedes will showcase their latest products. In addition, many institutions such as AMB, FGC, TMB, CARNET and ETRA will also participate in the event.
