Deutsche Windtechnik scores spanish double – reNews

Deutsche Windtechnik has signed two new full service contracts for wind turbines with a total capacity of over 400 MW with unnamed developers in Spain.
The first contract covers the maintenance of twelve wind farms with a total of 357 Gamesa wind turbines (355 MW) over a period of five years.
This also includes the turbine type G4X, which is added for the first time to the portfolio of Deutsche Windtechnik.
The second contract covers the complete maintenance of the Vestas V90 turbines with a power of 54 MW.
A new, highly flexible and customer-tailored maintenance concept will be implemented for this work.
The Managing Director of Deutsche Windtechnik in Spain, Diego Botero García, said: “More than 400 MW of new contracts are clear proof of our growth and that Deutsche Windtechnik’s strategy of improving the quality of service and adapting to customer maintenance requirements is paying off.
“These two comprehensive contracts demonstrate the client’s confidence in our services.
“We look forward to continuing our cooperation and are proud to have convinced the main Spanish operators of the quality and high safety standards of our services.”
The two contracts durably strengthen Deutsche Windtechnik’s position in Spain as a whole, but above all in the key regions of Aragon and Catalonia, where the two new projects are located.
In order to be able to take on these new service tasks, 30 service technicians were recruited for the new projects only.
In addition, companies are actively strengthening their office staff to optimally prepare for future growth in the years to come.
