ERLING HAALAND is said to be ready to wait for Barcelona to find the money to sign him as he ‘dreams’ of a move to Camp Nou.
The Dortmund striker is one of the hottest properties in European football and is followed by a host of heavyweight clubs.
Among them are Premier League giants Manchester United, Chelsea and Man City, all of whom want to bring the prolific goalscorer to England.
La Liga leaders Real Madrid and mega-rich Paris Saint-Germain are also in the hunt for his signature.
But reports suggest Haaland is keen on a move to Catalonia at the end of the season.
The problem is that Barca are skinny and would struggle to raise the £300m needed to sign the 21-year-old.
The towering striker has a tiny buyout clause in the contract he signed at Dortmund in January 2020 – just £65m.
But when salaries and agent fees are added, the cost of prodigy services should increase dramatically.
Haaland keeps his cards close to his chest but would be willing to wait for his dream move to materialize.
He has scored 80 goals in his 79 Dortmund appearances so far since joining from RB Salzburg two years ago.
Former England boss Sam Allardyce has sensationally claimed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would still be United manager if the Red Devils were successful in securing his transfer.
And City legend Shaun Goater suggested earlier this week that his former side were “so close” to bringing the Norway international to the Etihad.
