Some new and exciting spirits could be the perfect conversation starter for your guests – what do some of the most coveted bottles of whiskey in the world sound like?
A unique selection of in-demand whiskeys and spirits from around the world will soon arrive at select BCLIQUOR (BCL) stores, with BCL’s Release of the summer spirit youtake place on Saturday, June 18 at select stores.
The rare drink bundle includes single cask American whiskeys, sought-after bourbons, highly rated single malts, premium tequilas, refreshing gins and single casks of Jamaican rum – all carefully selected by the Spirits Category Manager from BCL, Adele Shaw.
Before visiting BCL stores, we strongly recommend that you have a shortlist on hand as quantities are limited and product selection varies.

Earn 95 points in the 2021 Ultimate Spirits Competition, this Kentucky Bourbon is one of the best on the market. This brings notes of toasted orange peel, coconut cream pie, strawberry liqueur, pipe tobacco and sandalwood. You will also notice additions of caramel and chewy toffee, with undertones of dark chocolate and golden raisin.

This 2021 Birthday Bourbon, casked in 2009, was chosen by a tasting panel because of its unique notes of butterscotch, burnt sugar and a touch of freshly baked Linzer biscuit. Expect a bright, peppery peripheral spice with notes of chocolate, raisin and fresh herbs to finish.

2020 Double Gold Medalist San Francisco World Spirits Competition this bourbon has rich, sweet, chocolate and brown sugar flavors that blend with the bold spice of the rye. It will linger on the palate with notes of cherry, clove and smoke.
Macallan The Harmony Collection Rich Cocoa
Macallan The Harmony Collection Rich Cocoa (BCLIQUOR)
Rich Cacao is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey from Macallan’s Harmony Collection which has been created in collaboration with Jordi Rocapastry chef at El Celler de Can Roca, located in Catalonia, Spain. Macallan whiskey maker Polly Logan created this distilled spirit using a combination of European and American oak barrels seasoned with exquisite sherry. The result is a uniquely rich dark chocolate flavor profile with hints of honey, dates, vanilla and cinnamon.
Lagavulin 12 year old Special Release 2021
Lagavulin Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 12 Year Old Special Edition (BCLIQUOR)
Sourced from Lagavulin – one of the oldest distilleries in Islay, Scotland – this special 12-year-old version has a soft, oily texture, starting sweet with a rapidly evolving flavor thanks to the powerful acidity of lemon. Overall, this one has a salty-sweet taste that can be both sweetened and sweetened with a drop of water.
Irish whiskey with yellow spots
Yellow Spot Aged 12 Years Irish Whiskey (BCLIQUOR)
Winner of the Chairman’s Trophy (with 99 points) in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2017, it’s a decadent take on Irish whiskey with enticing aromas of nougat, honey pastry and roasted oats. The robust whiskey carries luscious oak and caramel tones and finishes like a matured dessert wine.
