ISE highlights opportunities for 2022 – rAVe [PUBS]
Visitor registration for ISE 2022 is now open, offering the international VA and systems integration community a long-awaited opportunity to “rise up.” Reconnect. A new development for 2022 is a paperless approach to visitor registration in the form of digital badges issued through the new ISE app. The app will also be a rich source of additional information and content. âAs an in-person event, we are uniquely positioned to bring all elements of the industry together under one roof,â said Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events. âIn preparing for our return to Barcelona, ââwith our co-owners AVIXA and CEDIA, we have worked hard to ensure that ISE 2022 provides the industry with a truly useful experience – showcasing innovation, drawing inspiration from some of the more brilliant the company, and above all, to find itself after so many difficult months apart.
The exhibition space has been organized into five technology zones to provide a significantly improved visitor experience. To date, more than 700 companies have signed up to exhibit. With wide aisles, an easy-to-navigate layout, and industry-leading brands showcasing technological innovations and more, ISE 2022 will provide both the AV channel and end users with a lot of inspiration and solutions to transform their businesses.
The five technological areas are:

- NEW: Lighting & Staging (Hall 7) – with Special Lighting Demo Zone

An innovation for 2022 is Sound Xperience from ISE. This cinema complex offers twelve listening rooms uniquely configured to present audio with depth and clarity. In partnership with the Eventos Filmax Cinema Gran VÃa complex, this initiative is a framework to taste the signature sound of the world’s biggest audio brands.
The Inavation Awards, produced by IML, make their debut in Barcelona. Long associated with ISE, these awards recognize projects and technologies deployed by systems integrators, consultants and technology managers. The Inavation Awards will take place on Tuesday February 1. The Stand Design Awards, which celebrate and recognize the efforts of ISE exhibitors to create impactful and effective exhibition stands, will also take place during the show.
ISE has also extended its technological demonstration areas. There will be three new demo areas covering lighting and staging (in the lighting and staging area), audio and digital signage (both outside). These new spaces will allow visitors to discover these multi-technological solutions in real configurations.
Inspirational lecture and content program
ISE 2022 will provide plenty of professional development opportunities through its five-day multilingual content program. The 2022 Thought Leadership Program covers various industry topics and will offer a mix of paid and free sessions.

AV Career Day returns to ISE 2022, this year which will take place on Thursday, February 2. Supported by AVIXA, CEDIA and ISE, this initiative is designed to showcase career opportunities in the AV industry and ensure that the next generation of AV professionals have the skills to meet the challenges of tomorrow. A select group of technology students from universities and technical colleges across Europe will enjoy a guided tour.
ISE also works closely with the city of Barcelona, ââthe Catalan government and the Spanish authorities. There will be social events and features designed to showcase ISE’s new home in Barcelona. More details will follow.
