Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week supports the industry in boosting the market globally

Between September 18 and October 18, nearly 16,000 users, 68% of whom are foreigners, connected to the VBBFW 2020 digital platform, with Italy, the UK, France, Germany, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Japan and China among the most important countries. Throughout this period, the catwalks recorded nearly 70,000 views, while the 100 brands, 64% of which were international, who participated in the Digital Show received a total of 6,000 requests from potential buyers to access the private space of the platform which is reserved only for professionals.
In addition to its own platform, VBBFW has led several promotional initiatives through different channels across the world. For the first time, VBBFW has cooperated with Chinese social network Weibo on its channel dedicated to bridal fashion, which has more than 1.4 million followers. The videos of the parades recorded three million views, thus significantly increasing the distribution of the collections in a particularly interesting market for the internationalization of brands.
The VBBFW also formed the framework for various activities organized in partnership with various companies and entities. These included the Valmont digital space; the “Stop Child Marriage” program run by Save the Children to fight child marriage worldwide; and the Elle International Bridal Awards 2020, which this year recognize the excellence of 23 companies dedicated to bridal fashion and weddings.
